How do you transform a brief which sole purpose was to get people to recycle their old mobile, laptop, and TV into something that can actually change people’s lives, while tapping into Samsung’s position – #DoWhatYouCant
To do that, we decided to find a real utility to those old electronic devices. Something more meaningful than ending on a recycle bin.
In order to do so, we teamed up with Paulo Freire Institute,
one of the world’s most well-known NGOs for education, to develop
a mobile application that could help people, illiterate people,
to read and write in an 8 months period.
To kick start the project, we selected “students” that work
with recycling materials and have come to understand the importance of sustainability in their daily life routine.
